What is an External/Affiliate Product?
An External/Affiliate Product is listed in your store but sold on another website. When a customer clicks on the product, they are redirected to the external site to complete the purchase.
Access the Product Section
Log in to your Red OnX dashboard. From the main menu, navigate to Products > All Products.
Create a New Product
Click the Add New button to start creating a new product.
Enter Product Details
Enter the name of your affiliate/external product. Add a detailed description of the product.
Set the Product Type to External/Affiliate Product
Scroll down to the Product Data section. Select External/Affiliate Product from the dropdown menu.
Configure Affiliate/External Product Data
In the Product URL field, enter the URL of the external website where the product is sold. Customize the text for the purchase button. Enter the price of the product.
Add Additional Product Information
Enter a brief summary of the product in the Product Short Description area. Upload the main image of the product. Add additional images if applicable (optional).
Assign Product Categories and Tags
Check the relevant categories. Add tags to help organize the product.
Publish the Affiliate/External Product
Once all details are complete, click Publish to make the product live.
