Configuring Booking Time Zones

Configuring booking time zones is crucial for ensuring that all booking times reflect the correct local or visitor time. Proper time zone settings help prevent scheduling conflicts and enhance the overall booking experience for both your business and customers.

Accessing Time Zone Settings

  1. Navigate to the Settings Area:
    • From the main dashboard, click on Bookings in the left-hand menu.
    • Select Settings, then click on the Tab: Timezones from the top menu options.

Configuring Time Zone Settings

  1. Enable Bookings Timezone Calculation:
    • Check the box labeled Enable Bookings Timezone Calculation to activate time zone management for all bookings. This setting ensures bookings display accurate times based on the configured time zones.
  2. Select Timezone:
    • Display Visitor’s Local Time: Choose this option to display booking times according to the visitor’s local time zone, allowing customers to see times in their own time zone.
    • Display Your Local Time from Website Settings: Select this option to display booking times based on the time zone set in your website settings (e.g., America/Los_Angeles). This is ideal if your bookings are tied to a specific location or business time zone.
  3. Display a Timezone:
    • Check the box labeled Display a timezone to show the time zone alongside the booking times. This feature helps avoid confusion by clearly indicating which time zone is being used.
  4. Set Calendar Start Day:
    • Set Start Day from Visitor’s Locale: This option adjusts the calendar’s start day based on the visitor’s regional settings, aligning with their local norms.
    • Set Start Day from Website Settings: This option uses the default start day as configured in your website settings, such as Sunday or Monday, to provide a consistent view.

Saving the Configuration

  • After configuring your desired time zone settings, click the Save Changes button to apply them.
